K'taka crisis: Prez receives Gov report

Pratibha
Patil
has
received
the
report
of
Karnataka
Governor
Rameshwar
Thakur
in
which
he
has
recommended
the
dissolution
of
the
State
Assembly.
''The proposal is under consideration by the government,'' official sources said today.
The proposal is expected to come up for discussion at a meeting of the Union Cabinet to be chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh this evening.
The Governor sent in his report last evening following the resignation of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy after his government was reduced to a minority with the BJP withdrawing its support.
