Bihar Governor R S Gavai hosts Iftar party

Patna, Oct 9 (UNI) Bihar Governor R S Gavai today hosted an Iftar party, which was attended by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Steel, Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and other dignitaries, including several state ministers, MPs, MLAs and top bureaucrats.

Greeting the people on the occasion, the Governor said, ''The pious month of Ramzan gives us the opportunity to unite irrespective of differences.'' Among others, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Uday Narain Chaudhry, Legislative Council Chairman Arun Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Former Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra, Congress state unit president Sadanand Singh and several legislators of other political parties also attended the function.
