South-West monsoon weak over Kerala, Lakshadweep
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 8 (UNI) The South-West monsoon continue to be weak over Kerala and Lakshadweep.
According to a local weather office here, rain occurred at a few places in the state and the union territory.
Kochi airport and Thiruvananthapuram city recorded the highest rainfall of four cm each, followed by Neyyattinkara three, Minicoy two and Thiruvananthapuram airport, Kollam and Varkala one each.
A number of stations recorded the highest maximum temperature of 32 degree celsius, while CIAL, Kochi, Kannur and Kottayam registered the lowest minimum temperature of 22 degree celsius, it said.
Rain will occur at a few places in the state and the union territory during the next 48 hours, it added.
