Kishanganj, Oct 8(UNI) A probe has been ordered into the alleged bunglings and irregularities in the construction of the collectorate building here at a whopping cost of Rs 92 lakhs.
The probe was initiated on a cue from the Secretary, Building Division, Patna, following reports of huge bunglings in the construction of the collectorate building which was officially inaugurated in April last year.
The building has already developed cracks and most of the rooms of this two-storey building are burdened with the problem of seepage.
Kishanganj District Magistrate M.Saravanan told newsmen that the Executive Engineer,Public Works Department (Building) had been served with a show-cause notice. But,the reply given by the Executive Engineer was far from being ''satisfactory''.
He said an FIR would be lodged against the Executive Engineer, PWD (Building).
