Employees stage slogan shouting demonstration

Karur, Oct 8 (UNI) The members of all employees association of the Tamil Nadu State Primary Agriculture Cooperative Bank took out a slogan shouting demonstration here today in support of their demands.

In a statement here, the Association's State General Secretary C Kuppusamy demanded regularisation of all temporary employees of the bank, release and implementation of the pay restructuring committee and promotions to the secretaries of the bank, among other things.

Similar processions were held in all district headquarters in the state. They also submitted a petition to respective Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies, he said.

He also urged Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to intervene.
