Biniwale and Renavikar claims a grand double each

Pune Oct 7 (UNI) Top seeded Martand Biniwale and promising junior Shubhankar Renavikar claimed a grand double win each respectively today, in the Royal Connaught Boat Club (RCBC) hosted by Pune District Table Tennis Championship, which concluded at their home tabels here.

Promising Biniwale continued his winning ways defeating Sanmay Paranjape by 11-9, 11-7, 7-11, 11-4, 11-9 to claim the Men's singles title. Earlier the burly lad, who looks more like a wrestler won the Youth Boys Singles defeating Sanmay Paranjape in a tight final by 11-6, 4-11, 11-8, 11-7, 8-11, 11-9 and the process completed with a fine double.

Renavikar, who had bagged the Cadet boys singles title yesterday added yet another crown by winning the Sub-junior boys singles as well. The lad put it across a resolute Aniket Gulwani after dropping the opening game at 9-11, 11-4, 11-9, 7-11, 13-11, 5-11, 11-9 completing a fine double.
