Dehradun, Oct 7 (UNI) Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is hosting the first ever post-independent seminar of State Public Service Commissions of India in this district of Uttarakhand on October 9.
It will be followed by the National Conference of Charipersons of State Public Service Commission the next day.
According to the official release of UPSC the seminar would be attended by Mr Subir Datta, Chairman, UPSC, constitutional experts, professionals and top educationists.
The highlight of the seminar would be presentations of three papers followed by intense deliberations and panel discussion.
The governor of Uttarakhand would inaugurate the National Seminar on October 9 and Chief Minister Maj Gen (Retd.) BC Khanduri would inaugurate the national conference on October 10.
Chairpersons would discuss important issues impacting the Public Service Commissions including proposals to be forwarded to Centre and state governments and Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC).
Possibly the iterim recommendations of ARC would be tabled in the Winter Session of the Parliament, the release said.
