Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the August 25 twin blasts and May 18 Mecca Masjid explosion were interrogating three arrested terrorists to find out the whereabouts of the RDX consignment transported to the city from Bangladesh to trigger explosions.

Police sources said SIT questioned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) Operative Shaik Nayeem alias Sameer, Shaik Abdul Masjid, brother of the HUJI Commander and Twin Blasts Mastermind Shahed alias Bilal, and Shaikh Mohammed alias Shakeel.

Following intelligence inputs on HUJI terrorists sneaking into the city and planning terror strikes during Ramzan, city police were questioning the arrested terrorists even as they picked up some more persons, including those from Bangladesh overstaying here.

The police had come to know RDX weighing more than ten kg was brought to the city after the Mecca Blasts by Sameer and Shoaib Jagirdar.

Meanwhile, the police were conducting intensive checks at Railway stations and keeping an eye on trains coming from West Bengal.

The police were also keenly scanning the busy Secunderabad Terminal as they suspect that terrorists might be tempted to make use of its multiple exit and entry points for their evil deeds.

HUJI Leader Shahed, belonging to this city, was coordinating terror activities from Bangladesh by recruiting Muslim youth and training them.
