Bangalore, Oct 7: As many as seven teams will vie for a spot in the final of the South Zone McDowell's Signature Club Golf Championship here on October 9.
The second stage of India's largest golf tournament would be represented by over 4,500 golfers, representing 30 top golf clubs from 20 cities across the country.
The championship would culminate in the Grand Final to be held at Pattaya in Thailand.
The Championship would be played in a three-tier format, with the first stage at all 30 clubs, where members of each participating club would play amongst each other to select the 'Club Team'.
The second stage is the Regional Finals, where each club team battles it out against the other clubs in the respective region to decide the Regional Champion Golf Club.
In the final stage, the four Regional Champion golf clubs would then be pitted against each other to decide the Champion Golf Club of India.
