New era of development has begun in UP: Badhshah Singh
Gwalior, MP, Oct 7 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Small Scale Industries Minister Badshah Singh has claimed that a new era of development has started in Uttar Pradesh after the formation of the Mayawati Government.
Mr Singh told UNI during his one-day visit here yesterday that corruption has been controlled in a short period under Chief Minister Mayawati. He said dismissing of police constables was an important step towards this direction.
He said the BSP Government represented 'Sarvhara (weaker sections)' and was working for their welfare.
Mr Singh, who is BSP election incharge for Madhya Pradesh, said his party would fight assembly elections in the state with full vigour. The BSP would perform better than the Congress and the BJP and form government on its own.
He said he had visited Gwalior, Bhind, Ambah, Shahdol, Panna, Rewa, Sidhi, Umaria, Datia and Satna. The party's public base was expanding in these areas.
Mr Singh said BSP President Mayawati would visit Madhya Pradesh soon.
