Hyderabad, Oct 7: Stating the people of Karnataka would teach a lesson to the JD (S) for not allowing the BJP to assume power in the state as per the 'political agreement', Former BJP President M Venkaiah Naidu today exuded confidence his party would win 120 seats in the next Assembly elections.

Stating the Congress would pay a heavy price if it supported the JD (S) Government, Mr Naidu told newsmen 'the BJP would get absolute majority in the coming election and assume power on its own in Karnataka'.

Charging the JD (S) with having 'brought down the image of politics to the lowest level and the 'worst ever betrayal by any political party', he demanded the Karnataka Governor to dissolve the JD (S) govenrment and conduct fresh elections as early as possible.

Alleging the JD(S) was making absurd allegations against the BJP by terming the party as a 'communal force' after enjoying power for 20 months with its support, Mr Naidu said 'JD (S) lacks the credibility and the BJP was ill - treated during the 20 month JD (S) rule.
