Sonia says party unfazed by election prospects
New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) Sounding the possibility of early elections, Congress President Sonia Gandhi today said her party was prepared to face the people.
"If there is an election, we will face it," she said at an 'Iftar' party hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Echoing his party chief's views, Dr Singh said "nothing is inevitable" to a question if he felt there would be snap polls.
Ms Gandhi and Dr Singh, however, played down the threat from the Left on the Indo-US nuclear deal.
"The UPA has no concern about the future of our government," Ms GAndhi said.
