Kolkata, Oct 06 (UNI) Generally hot and humid weather kept people yearning for more rainfall in Bengal.
Alipore Met office sources said the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal and the minimum was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.
Humidity in the city remained high with maximum relative humidity being pegged at 92 per cent.
The city recorded traces of rainfall in some parts. The sky will generally remain cloudy with possibility of few spells of rainfall or thunder shower in the next 24 hours.
