There is scope for Dy CM in Punjab but no demand--Sud
Jaipur, Oct 5 (UNI) Punjab Medical Education and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tikshan Sud today said there was scope for creation of the post of deputy Chief Minister in SAD-BJP coalition government in his state but presently there was no such demand or claim from the junior coalition partner BJP.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Sud, a sitting BJP MLA from Hoshiarpur district, said the SAD-BJP government was functioning smoothly under the leadership of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
''There was always scope for posts and positions in the government and no forecast could be made in a political set-up, but presently there was no issue of differences between the two coalition partners and the government was functioning well with a fairly good understanding,'' he said.
