Rupee openes steady at 39.49 per USD

Mumbai, Oct 5: The Rupee opened almost steady at 39.49 per US dollar as compared to previous close of 39.49/50 per dollar.

The local unit made a firm start during the opening sessions and touched a high of 39.43/44 per dollar afterward. Currently, Rupee is trading at 39.47/48 per dollar, dealers said.
