Mumbai, Oct 5 (UNI) Prices of nickel, tin, copper and aluminium in ferrous and non ferrous metals today rose on brisk industrial users demand and firm advice from London Metal Exchange (LME), Kolkata, Delhi and other centres, traders at the Bombay Metal Exchange (BME) said today.

In the ferrous category (per quintal), copper utensils rose further by Rs 100. Brass utensils and Brass cutting hardened by Rs 200 each on lack of offers by stockists, induced by firm advice from LME, Kolkata and other centres.

In the non-ferrous segment (per quintal), copper wire bars too went by Rs 100 while Lead Ingot and zinc slab inched up by Rs 50 and Rs 100 respectively on sustained heavy industrial demand from local dealers in the face of lesser ready stocks at the domestic markets.

Nickel cathode and tin slab also spurted by Rs 10 and Rs five per kg respectively on sustained brisk industrial users demand coupled with bullish advice from LME and Kolkata.
