Imphal, Oct 5 (UNI) Manipur dominated rest of the states in the ongoing ninth North East zonal mountain climbing competition here.
The competition is being organised by Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association (MMTA) under the North East zonal sport climbing committee and Indian Mountaineering Federation.
More than 100 competitors from Manipur, Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Tripura participated in the event.
In the junior boys Salam Surchandra and Leishangthem Imo of Manipur got first and second position, while Meghalaya's Master Florentius was third.
Senjam Devola Devi and Sarangthem Landhoni of the host state got first and second and Ibakordrshisha Mary Savian of Meghalaya grabbed the third position in the junior girls section.
In the boys final S Beckham of Manipur came first, Millo Rikah of Arunachal Pradesh second and Overland Saitang of Meghalaya was third.
Sushirani Devi, Ashangbi Th Resma from Manipur got the first, second and third positions.
