India's Spice Exports up

Compared
to
other
commodities
India
has
managed
to
achieve
a
good
growth
in
export
of
spices
from
the
month
of
April
to
August
in
the
current
fiscal
year.
It has shown an impressive increase of 50% to touch around 421.16 million dollars as against 280.71 million dollars in the corresponding period a year ago. India exported 1,87,000 tones of spices as against 1,49,000 tones during the same period.
