KINSHASA, Oct 5 (Reuters) At least 52 people were killed when a Russian-made cargo plane ploughed into a crowded suburb of the Congolese capital Kinshasa the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry said today.
Ministry spokesman Saleh Kinyongo said the provisional death toll had risen from a previous figure of 38 but could climb higher as new information came in from the crash site and from hospitals in the sprawling riverside capital.
