Noida, Oct 5 (UNI) A case has been registered against the owners of five-star MBD Radisson hotel, here along with the manager and security guard due to mismanagement and lapse of security for VIP's.

''UP Chief Secretary Prashant Kumar Mishra was here as a Chief guest to promote ready-made garments at a function organised by Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), when he got stuck in the lift due to power failure,'' Senior Superintendent of Police A Satish Ganesh informed.

''Even after the power came, the lift that was to go up to first floor went to the basement, which kept Mr Mishra in the left for 12 minutes,'' Mr Ganesh said.

For lapse of security and mismanagement, an FIR has been lodged at the Noida Sector 20 police station, against hotel owners Monica Malhotra, Sonika Malhotra, manager Nasir Khan and security in-charge Harender Singh.

Two years back, a case had been registered against the five-star hotel due to death of a security guard, Mr Ganesh added.
