Two-day Mah BJP executive meet in Aurangabad on Oct 15-16
Mumbai, Oct 4 (UNI) The two-day meeting of the Maharashtra BJP Executive, to be held at Aurangabad on October 15 and 16, is expected to discuss the 'wheat scam', 'rising prices' and 'Ram Sehtu' and outline the party's strategy on the issues.
State unit spokesman Madhu Chavan said the meeting will be chaired by president Nitin Gadkari and attended among others by national vice president Prof Bal Apte, national general secretary Gopinath Munde, group leaders in the Legislature Eknath Khadse and Pandurang Phundkar and state general secretary Vinod Tawde.
All office-bearers, Legislators, MPs, chiefs of frontal organisations, district presidents have also been invited, he informed.
Mr Chavan said as per the directives of the National Executive, focus would be given on preparations for the general elections.
A review of the first phase of the party's ambitious expansion programme -''Booth tithe Bhajapa'' (BJP at every booth) would be taken.
The meeting has been organised at Tapadia natya mandir in Aurangabad.
