Subterranean blasts terrify MP villagers
Ujjain, MP, Oct 4 (UNI) Residents of this district's Malgawdi village are living in fear due to tremors and continuous subterranean explosions in the village's eastern part since September 26.
District administration officials visited the village today and advised denizens not to be apprehensive. At least a couple of tremors occur daily. Collector Shivshekhar Shukla and Superintendent of Police Jaideep Prasad discussed the matter with geologists at Delhi and Bhopal.
Subterranean movement of gas is believed to be the cause for the disturbances.
