Namchi Sports Hostel thrash Neemuch school 13-0 in Subroto Cup

New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) Namchi Sports Hostel, Sikkim, thrashed Sri Vyas Vidya Mandir, Neemuch, 13-0 in the U-14 league match of the Subroto Cup Football tournament here today.

For the Sikkim team, Uttam Rai scored four goals in the 26th, 45th, 56th and 59th minutes and Richard Lepcha netted three in the 11th, 16th and 57th minutes.

Karma Singh and Nimdorji Tamang found the target twice each while Tshering Zangpo and Tilak Subba contributed one goal each.

Tomorrow, Sri Vyas Vidya Mandir will play against St Stephen's School, Chandigarh, in the semi-final of junior (U-17) while NCC (NER) will take on Rosary High School, Panjim, Goa, in the other semi-final.
