BJP unlikely to come to power in south: Arjun Singh
Bangalore, Oct 4 (UNI) Union Human Resources Development Minister Arjun Singh today ruled out the possibility of the BJP coming to power in the south.
When asked whether the BJP would come to power in the south, particularly in Karnataka, he told newspersons here on the sidelines of a function, that he thought this eventuality would never occur.
The BJP, the coalition partner of the JD(S) in Karnataka, is currently up in arms with its partner on the 'delay' the power transfer as per the agreement reached between the two parties.
Mr Singh declined to comment when asked whether the Congress would join hands with the JD(S) to form a government in the event of the culmination of the current coalition set up. He denied he had met JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda today.
