Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) today announced that the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WLIFW) Autumn-Winter 2008 collection will be showcased from March 12-16 next year.
After the success of WLIFW and a walk down the tenth edition of Asia's largest fashion and trade event, the team is now gearing up for India's next biggest B2B fashion trade event in New Delhi.
Speaking to reporters, FDCI Director General Rathi Vinay Jha said, ''We have had a good response to the WLIFW Spring-Summer showcase. I would like to thank the fashion fraternity, that is the participating designers, buyers and media, both national and international and other stakeholders for all their support. Now its time to move on as we announce the dates of the Autumn-Winter collection, India's premier B2B fashion trade event.'' ''The event offers participating designers a business presence through a series of marketing tools, including seminars and workshops on various facets of the industry, presentations and research reports - all aimed at informing and updating buyers, investors, corporate houses and media, ''Ms Jha informed.
