Fatehgarh Sahib, Oct 3 (UNI) Punjab BJP president Rajinder Bhandari today asserted that there was no rift among BJP ministers in the SAD-BJP alliance government in the state.
When asked about the reported differences between senior BJP leaders Health Minister Laxmi Kanta Chawla and Transport Minister Master Mohan Lal, he quipped said ''such minor issues within a family were normal and were always amicably settled within the party''.
Talking to mediapersons at Mandi Gobindgarh, the BJP state chief said that the party was united and dedicated to the cause of Punjabis.
In answer to another query, Mr Bhandari said that SAD-BJP government would appoint chairmen of Corporations of Boards within 15 days and added that BJP would get adequate share in these postings.
He said that BJP was against hike in power tariff in Punjab and would oppose it. He also said that the party was not against free power facility being extended to farmers as long as the burden was not put on the urban population.
