New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) Top Indian IT firms are keen to set up offices at the Knowledge Centre which will come up near Istanbul, Turkey.
''We are planning to set up a Knowledge Centre near Istanbul and few Indian companies have expressed their interest,'' Turkish Ambassador to India Halil Akinci said.
Calling the entire deal ''an economic secret'', the Ambassador said the interseted parties were ''big ones''.
Mr Akinci said Turkey was also looking at more automobile companies entering Turkey after Tata and Mahindra and Mahindra.
The transaction for Mahindra has been ongoing for approximately a year-and-a-half. Although Mahindra and Mahindra is sold in Europe, its import was not allowed in Turkey due to the unbalanced foreign trade regime with India.
