"Helpline" for accident at Mugalsarai station

Patna, Oct 3 (UNI) The East Central Railway(ECR) has set up ''Helpline'' at Mugalsarai, Gaya, Buxar and Jamania stations to facilitate easy access of informations to the relatives of those killed or injured in the accident at Mugalsarai station today.

At least 13 people were killed and 40 injured in a stampede at Mugalsarai railway station earlier during the day.

ECR sources said the most of the victims hailed from Bhojpur and Buxar districts in Bihar and the ''Helpline'' would provide updated informations to the kith and kin of those killed or injured in the incident.

The queries could be made on Tel Nos- 05412-254144, 05412- 253232 at Mugalsarai station, 05412-254145 at Mugalsarai Railway Hospital, 06183-222046 at Buxar , 05497-252227 at Jamania and 0631- 2430320 at Gaya stations.
