Educational institutions in Kashmir remain closed today

Srinagar, Oct 3 (UNI) All educational institutions in Jammu and Kashmir remained closed today as per government announcement.

However, work in the Kashmir University was normal.

Schools have also postponed examination scheduled for today.

Making this announcement at the conclusion of the state Level debate on Gandhian Philosophy of truth and non-violence and its relevance in the 21st century here yesterday, Secretary School Education K M Wani said that schools and colleges including Private educational institutions in the state would observe holiday on October 3.

Thousand of students from different parts of the valley participated in the function which was held yesterday at Sher-e- Kashmir International Convention Complex.
