Airtel's 'Number Dabao, Paisa Pao' contest

Chandigarh, Oct 3: Airtel today announced the launch of the 'Number Dabao, Paisa Pao' contest in which postpaid and prepaid customers in Punjab can win up to Rs 5 lakh in cash.

Customers can participate in the Airtel Number Dabao, Paisa Pao contest through an SMS or by making a voice call, a company spokesman said here today.

The first prize is Rs 2 lakh, the second prize Rs 1 lakh and there are daily cash prizes aggregating Rs 2 lakh.

''To participate through a Voice Call, a customer just needs to call 56465, say "Number" and then answer some simple questions.

For each correct answer, the customer will get 10 points. There are a total of 500 questions and the customer can play as many times as he wishes to increase his score,'' he said.

For participating through SMS, a customer needed to send a sms NUM to 56465 and answer the questions sent to him by return SMS, he said.

The customer with the highest number of points at the end of the contest period would win the first prize of Rs 2 lakh and the second highest would get Rs 1 lakh. Also, there were daily prizes for the highest scorer of the day. The spokesman said the contest would close on October 7. Calls to 56465 would be charged at Rs 6 per minute, while each SMS to 56465 would cost Rs 3.

"As the festive season approaches, Airtel is offering cash prizes to our customers so that they can make their celebrations even more exciting and enjoyable.
