Lucknow, Oct 2 (UNI) Work at the Allahabad High Court, Lucknow division, is expected to be paralysed this week following a strike called by the Avadh Bar Assocation for next three days starting tomorrow.
The executive of the Awadh Bar Association chaired by its president and state advocate general Jyotindra Mishra decided on the strike following a recent tiff between an advocate and a policeman in Gomti Nagar locality.
According to the Association, all the members of the Association would not work from Wednesday to Friday to protest high handness by the police against the family members of a member of the bar.
Last week, a policeman had allegedly assulted an advocate in the Gomti Nagar locality following a family dispute.
However, the Association said the functioning at the High Court in Allahabad would not be affected due to the strike.
