Leaders of two Koreas meet in North capital-media
SEOUL, Oct 2 (Reuters) North Korea's reclusive leader today met South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun in the capital Pyongyang in the first ever meeting between the two men whose countries are technically at war, South Korean media reported.
Earlier in the day, Roh crossed the heavily-mined border that has split the peninsula for more than 50 years for a summit with Kim Jong-il, only the second between Asia's fourth largest economy and its impoverished neighbour.
Roh has said he wants the talks to bring peace to the divided Koreas.
