YSR pays rich tributes to Mahatma
Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today paid rich tributes to the Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 138th birth anniversary tomorrow.

Dr
Reddy
said,
''Gandhiji
was
a
multifaceted
genius,
a
beacon
light
of
sustainable
peace
to
the
entire
humanity,
who
became
a
legend
in
his
own
lifetime.''
''Bapuji
never
compromised
with
his
moral
and
humanitarian
values
and
peace
and
non-violence
in
his
relentless
struggle
for
Indian
Independence,''
he
said,
adding
''his
patriotic
fervour
and
spirit
of
service
to
the
poorest
of
the
poor
and
deprived
classes
of
the
society
left
an
indelible
mark
in
the
annals
of
history
of
our
country.''
The
Chief
Minister
said,
''Gandhi's
life,
described
as
'my
experiments
with
truth'
in
his
own
words,
was
his
message
to
the
future
generations.''
