Sawai Madhopur to get West zone Museum of Natural History:Meena

Jaipur, Oct 1 (UNI) The fourth Regional Museum of Natural History would be set up in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan close to the famous Ranathambore National Park, said Union Minister of State for Enviornment and Forest Namo Narayan Meena.

He expressed the hope that it will be another attraction to the large number of tourists visiting the Ranathambore national Park and further the cause of tourism in the state.

At present, three regional museums of the National Museum of Natural History in Delhi are located in Mysore, Bhopal and Bhubaneshwar.

Mr Meena said the fourth museum will be dedicated to study the flora and funa of the desert region and will represent the western region.
