RJD demands declaration of rehab policy and CMP in J'khand
Ranchi, Oct 01 (UNI) In a bid to claim its share in the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand, the RJD has demanded to announce the proposed Displacement and Rehabilitation policy, Common Minimum Programm and formation of steering and co-ordination committees.
In the party's state executive meeting here yesterday, the leaders said the state government should soon sort out the pending issues so that the party, extending outside support to the government with its seven MLAs, should get its proper participation.
The leaders also demanded 27 per cent reservation for other backward classes in higher educational institutions.
The party leaders expressed concern over increasing naxal activities in the state.
