Live India channel reporter granted bail
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjay Jindal today granted bail to Prakash Singh, a reporter of the Live India channel, in abetment of rioting case under Daryaganj police station.
Large scale rioting had taken place in the walled city area after the telecast of a fake sting operation.
The reporter will not be released as he is in judicial custody in the case of fake sting operation.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Alok Aggrawal today extended his judicial custody by 14 days.
The fake sting operation case is under investigation of the Crime Branch of Delhi Police whereas the rioting case was investigated by Daryaganj police.
