Journalist arrested
Ujjain, MP, Oct 1 (UNI) Police today arrested a journalist on the charge of looting a Rajasthan-based farmer at a hotel here with the help of a call girl.
Superintendent of Police Jaideep Prasad said main accused Abhay Tirwar, who worked in an evening daily, was absconding since the incident. He would be produced before court tomorrow.
Photographer Dinesh Solanki was still absconding. Four other accused, including three journalists, were lodged in central Bhairavgarh jail.
Six people had looted Rs 50,000 and other materials from farmer J S Pawar at a hotel as a part of fake sting operation while pretending to be crime branch officer.
