Pune, Oct 1 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon has been subdued in Gangetic West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
Heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in coastal Karnataka and at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalseema.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and interior Karnataka.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, south Gujarat, Saurashtra, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Lakshadweep.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, north Gujrat and Kutch.
Heavy rains have occured at a few places in Assam and Meghalaya, while rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in coastal Karnataka and at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Kerala, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalseema and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Punjab, Haryana and west Rajasthan.
In regions from where the Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn, day temperatures were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, while night temperatures were above normal in some parts of west Rajasthan.
