Fourth Phase of land distribution on Nov 1: YSR

Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekahra Reddy today said two lakh acres of land with clear titles will be distributed to the poor families during the fourth phase of land distribution programme, on November one.

Reviewing the programme with the officials concerned here, Dr Reddy said 1.34 lakh acres of land had identified for distribution as a part of the implementation of the Koneru Ranga Rao Committee Recommendations, an official release said.

More government lands would be distributed for which village-wise and district-wise list was getting ready. Necessary Government Orders in this regard would be issued soon.

Referring to the Left parties' 'land agitation', Dr Reddy said the illegal occupation of land as part of the agitation would be dealt with seriously and under any circumstances, those ccupying land illegally would be evicted within a week.
