New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) A 40-year-old party worker alleged that she was molested by Congress MLA from Outer Delhi, Jaikishan, when she went to him for some work this morning.

A senior police official said a case under Section 354 (outraging the modesty of a woman) has been registered at the Sultanpuri police station in Outer district against Jaikishan on the complaint of the woman.

Local people later gathered at the school and protested at his misconduct and raised slogans against him.

In her complaint the woman, Veena Joshi (40), a senior Congress worker, alleged that she was molested by the Congress MLA at his first floor office of R D Public School, a senior secondary school which he owns, when she went to meet him for some work this morning.

''He even threatened to get my children killed if I shouted when I started moving out of the room. Earlier, while sitting he made an 'indecent proposal' which forced me to leave the room and while leaving he grabbed me in which my clothes were torn.'' Rubbishing the allegation, the Congress MLA from Sultanpuri said the move was politically motivated and a conspiracy to defame him.

''Veena is like a sister to me and some of my party people are also involved in this maligning campaign.'' Threatening to file a defamation case against the woman, Jaikishan said he would go to the court to sort out the issue.

He also called for a CBI inquiry to get to the ''bottom of the truth''.

Earlier too, Jaikishan and his son had been involved in a case of molestation.
