Vigilance sleuths arrest Deputy Education Director
Patna, Sep 30 (UNI) Bihar state vigilance bureau today caught Deputy Education Director of Purnia district Naga Ram red handed for accepting bribe.
The ADG of the Bureau here said that responding to a complaint by Arvind Kumar, a clerk in the office of district Education Director, bureau officials laid a trap and caught Mr Ram. The bureau officials also recovered several bank accounts and documents of properties located in several cities of the state in his name.
According to charges, Mr Ram had demanded Rs 15,000 from Mr Kumar for clearence of deprtmental project.
The arrested deputy director was being interrogated and would be produced before the special court in Patna tomorrow.
