TN Thodakapalli Asiriyar Association members observe fast

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 30 (UNI) Members of the Tamil Nadu Thodakapalli Asiriyar Mandram led by their State President K Meenakshisundaram today observed a day-long fast here, condemning the former BJP Lok Sabha member Ram Vilas Vedanti for issuing 'fatwa' against DMK President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for his adverse remarks against Lord Ram.

Inaugurating the fast, Transport Minister K N Nehru condemned Mr Vedanti for making such a threat against the leader, who was the saviour of Tamils.
