Suspected naxalite nabbed immediately after release
Nagpur, Sep 30 (UNI) A suspected Naxalite from Andhra Pradesh was arrested immediately after being released from the Central Jail here last night.
The Naxalite, identified as Mallesh alias Vikram Kushwaha alias Saili, was taken into custody by plainclothesmen outside the Jail.
There was a minor scuffle as Mallesh tried to resist arrest.
A Deputy Commander of the Deori Dalam, Mallesh was whisked away to Chandrapur yesterday, from where he was taken to Gadchiroli today, police sources said.
Although there is no official word about the charges on which Mallesh has been arrested, sources said that it was a 'preventive arrest.' Mallesh had ten cases against him, of which he has been acquitted in eight, discharged in one and granted bail in another.
He was released yesterday after having been granted bail. He had been lodged in the prison here since August 2004.
