Haryana to organise Bijli Rally on Oct 7

Chandigarh, Sep 30 (UNI) Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda today started his campaign for inviting people for 'Bijli Rally' to be held at Jhadli village in Jhajjar district on October 7.

While addressing public meetings organised today in various villages of Rohtak district, Mr Deepender Singh Hooda said the Bijli Rally would be addressed by Congress president Sonia Ghandi. He added that on the same day Ms Ghandi would also lay the foundation stone of 1500 MW Jhajjar Thermal Power Project.

He marked the importance of Bijli Rally related to power generation in state. He said that Jhajjar thermal power generation plant would be producing 1500 MW power and it would be the biggest single power station in North India. He further added that in Jhajjar a second power generation plant was in pipeline, which would be producing additional 1200 MW power.

He said that Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda would be inaugurating Yamuna Nager power plant on Haryana Day November 1.

Which would add additional 300 MW power to state production from November 1 and it would further add 300 MW by February 8 he added.
