Mexico, Sept 30: With a draw against Hungarian Super Grand Master Peter Leko in the final round of the World Chess Championship, Vishwanathan Anand regains the World Chess crown.
Anand wins the the Championship with a tally of nine points after playing a quick 20-move draw with Peter Leko.
Playing with White against Leko, Anand dived into Marshall attack.
During the championship he had been one player who introduced a couple of novelties in his games.
By 20th move the game became completely equal and both the players decided to call it a day.
Peter Leko was the First to congratulate him on becoming the 'new world chess champion' which Anand accepted with a smile.
