AISC protests 'clean chit' to Tytler in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case
New Delhi, Sept 30 (UNI) The All India Sikh Conference today held demonstrations at the Jantar Mantar here to protest the 'clean chit' given by the CBI to Congress MP Jagdish Tytler in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case.
The protestors tried to march to the Prime Minister's residence to apprise him about their concern over the development but were stopped by security forces.
Shouting anti-Tytler and anti-CBI slogans, participants in the demonstration said the move had hurt the entire Sikh community.
Demanding 'justice', AISC members asked the PM to personnaly interfere in the matter and bring the guilty to book.
