Two robbers arrested, looted arms, cash recovered

Koderma, Sep 29 (UNI) Police today nabbed two robbers and recovered about Rs ten lakh and a vehicle, looted a few hours before, in this district of Jharkhand.

Besides cash and the vehicle, the arms looted by them were also recovered, Superintendent of Police T Kandaswami told reporters here.

He said the miscreants, identified as Raju Singh and Mahendra Yadav, were nabbed from Marium Ghati under Koderma police station last night.

They had decamped with the cash, arms and vehicle after taking two employees of a local businessman at gun point near Taraghati in the same police station area while they were returning from Patna.

Mr Kandaswami said the miscreants had also looted a rifle and a revolver from the employees.

A country made revolver and six live cartridges were recovered from them, he added.
