Teacher arrested for stripping student

New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) A teenaged teacher of a private school in West Delhi's Uttam Nagar area was today arrested for allegedly stripping a child in the class for not doing her homework.

The teacher, Neha (19), working in 'Star Fine Public School' in Uttam Nagar, was arrested after the child's brother called the police this morning, said a senior police official.

''A case under Section 354 and the Juvenile Justice Act has been registered and the teacher arrested,'' he said.

After the girl told the matter to her parents yesterday, her brother Dinesh went to the school today to verify the matter, but as he found nobody there he called the police.

According to the complaint, Neha had stripped the girl, studying in Upper KG, for not completing her homework and even made her stand on the table.

The child's father Gopal has a catering business.
