Raul to felicitate 9 centenarians on World Elders Day on Oct 1

Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) Mumbai Mayor Dr Shubha Raul will felicitate nine centenarians from Mumbai on behalf of the citizens of Mumbai, on the occasion of World's Elder's Day on October 1.

According to an official release, Mrs Raul will visit the centenarians at their residence and greet them with a bouquet, sweets and the emblem of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

The centenarians to be felicitated by the Mayor include Jaywanti Waghoji Satam (107) and Sundera Motani (100) of Borivali, Ganesh Kharwandikar (100), Dattaram Paudwal (100), Jankibai Sane (100) and Sushilabai Karnik (100) from Mahim, Vimala Zaveri (100) from Malad, Mangesh Dabholkar (100) from Chunabhatti, and Anandibai Malap (100) from Dadar.

The Prakash Mohadikar and Sharad Sule, the adviser and president of the Indian Association of Retired Pensioners, will be present during the Mayor's visit.
