PNB introduces fund transfer through ATMs

Kozhikode, Sep 29 (UNI) The Punjab National Bank (PNB) today said it has introduced fund transfer facilities for debit card holders through ATMs throughout the country.

Hitherto allowed only cash withdrawals, the added ATM facility introduced recently entitled debit card holders to transfer fund between accounts mapped to their accounts, said a PNB Integrated Zonal Office release here.

It enabled customers to transfer any amount available in their account subject to a maximum of Rs one lakh with unlimited transactions per day.

To avail the facility, the customers would be issued with two add-on cards along with their own debit cards free of cost, it said adding the add-on card could be issued in the name of spouse, dependent parents and dependent children not below 18 years.

The transactions done by add-on card holders would automatically be debited to the account of the primary card holder, who would be responsibile for all the transactions, the release added.
